So I was super excited this week as my new suitcase arrived, I’m flying to Doha in Qatar and Dubai this week. Sadly my old suitcase took a nosedive and broke when I was moving house. A new suitcase is something I’d been wanting to buy for a while, now I had a perfect excuse. So I thought I couldn’t go away without sharing a quick review of my Its a Revelation! suitcase.
I looked at several suitcases, but I was adamant I didn’t want another black suitcase. I often stand at the conveyor belt in the airport scratching my head asking, ‘is that case mine?’ So in typical girly fashion I decided on a pink case to compliment my purple cabin case I purchased from Tesco at the beginning of the year. I decided on the REVELATION by Antler Jude 4-wheel Standard Medium Case from Very, I was extremely pleased as I managed to get it in the sale for £44.99 down from £74.
I always go for a medium case rather than a large, as I have serious issues sticking to the 20kg weight limit. Also, I always go for a hard case to help protect the perfume or bottles I pick up on my travels. My last hard case was definitely of an older technology, it was heavy, I could not believe how light this case was when I picked it up! At 3.8kg I was really impressed. Also, this was an upgrade from two wheels to four wheels, so maneuvering through Heathrow is going to be much easier. It also came with a combination padlock as standard, which goes with the overall design of the case.
I absolutely love the design of this case, the scratch resistant plastic should hopefully keep the case ‘Emily’ proof. “Tested to destruction, a 5 year guarantee is also included.” (Item descripton on Very.com). Also, the straps, internal pockets add extra detailing inside making packing a more organised affair. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and look forward to using it for years to come.
