You may have read my previous post about how excited I was when Taco Bell landed in Southampton. Well now it’s just got even better with a Taco Bell Happy Hour daily. I went and saw what they had to offer this weekend. If you’re anything like me a cocktail accompanying some naughty food is always a win!
The Taco Bell Happy Hour runs from 3pm until 6pm daily at all Taco Bell stores.
The limited edition menu offers: Cheesy Quesadilla Nachos (mini quesadillas topped with nacho toppings) £4.49, and a Crunchy Chicken Share Plate £7.50. Beefy, cheesy Loaded Nachos (best enjoyed by two) are also available during Happy Hour for £4.49.
We tried out the Cheesy Quesadilla Nachos and Crunchy Chicken Share plate, this was more than enough for two, and gave a good variety of what Taco Bell has to offer. But I made sure I had enough room for dessert.
For £6 you can get a dessert share plate with churros and chocodilla, with a side of chocolate sauce. I was late to the party with churros, but i’m definitely making up for lost time! They were so good!
The drinks were really reasonable, and a refreshing freeze works perfectly with the cheesy quesadillas.
The drinks deals are: Sol Cervezas (2 bottles for £5.00 or a bucket of 4 bottles for £10.00). The Freezes are available as non-alcoholic Strawberry Smash & Lemon Quencher (Freeze) and alcoholic (Twisted Freeze) which come in Margarita and Strawberry Daiquiri. The Freezes and Twisted Freezes are usually available for £1.99 and £2.99 each respectively, but are available exclusively during Happy Hour for 2 for £3.00 (Freeze) or 2 for £5.00 (Twisted Freeze).
This was definitely a Sunday Funday wellspent.
